Sarah Yellapa, MSW, RSW
NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS.
Hi! I’m Sarah, a fully bilingual (English/French), Registered Social Worker supporting young adults (up to 29 years old).
I completed my Bachelor of Social Work degree at Toronto Metropolitan University and pursued my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, specializing in children and families.
My passion for mental health and well-being fuels my commitment to empowering clients in navigating a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image, low self-esteem, perfectionism, stress, bullying, self-harm, ADHD, and emotion regulation.
Working from a holistic perspective, I employ a tailored strengths-based approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EFT, and EFFT to support clients in overcoming barriers and achieving positive change.
In our journey together, I prioritize establishing a strong foundation of trust and genuine connections through transparent communication. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued, as we explore challenges and progress toward achieving goals.
Outside of my work with OWPC, I enjoy travelling, going to concerts, playing with my little dog, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.
