Hi! I’m Dr. Chang, a Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychologist and the director of the Ontario-Wide Psychology Clinic. I provide psychotherapy to children and adolescents with a range of mental health difficulties and have a particular interest in supporting those struggling with anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, eating disorders, or body image concerns.

I use an integrative approach to meet clients’ needs, drawing from therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Family Based Treatment (FBT), and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I believe that parents play a key role in supporting a young person who is struggling, and love to involve family when possible.

My interest in anxiety, eating disorders, and body image has been present since early on in my training; I began conducting research in these areas as an undergraduate student and have since presented at multiple national and international conferences. I’ve also trained/worked with children and their families at a number of hospitals and community mental health agencies throughout Ontario including the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO in Ottawa, ON), The Regional Children’s Centre (RCC in Windsor, ON), Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids in Toronto, ON), and McMaster Children’s Hospital (in Hamilton, ON). Outside of my clinical work. I supervise therapists-in-training and am an assistant clinical professor with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.
